Applicants are sought for a full time police researcher within a Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) based in Swindon the role may require you to work in a multi location of Swindon with possible working in Trowbridge.
This is an opportunity to be part of a multi-agency team working to share information in a timely manner, make more informed decisions and respond quickly to safeguarding concerns to protect children from significant harm. Applicants will need to be highly motivated and must be able to demonstrate personal responsibility to deliver high standards of professional practice. The successful applicants will be line managed within the Public Protection Department reporting structure.
The successful applicant will be expected to work dayshifts (between 0800 and 1800 hours) in a multi-agency environment researching and recording child protection referrals to and from Wiltshire Police and sharing relevant, proportionate and necessary information to partner agencies with regard to child welfare concerns. Initial training and development may take place across both MASH sites in Swindon & Trowbridge in the initial weeks of service
