Applications are invited for a full time 12 month fixed term contract/ secondment W9 position as a Complex Fraud Manager within the Wiltshire Police Complex Fraud Team. Successful applicants will be based at a number of locations within Wiltshire, with oversight of teams within Swindon and Melksham.
The role will involve leading and inspiring the Complex Fraud team, who are responsible for the investigation of all elements of complex fraud, including investigation, fraud prevention and joint working with partner agencies. Applicants will be required to represent the team, and the organisation, at multi agency meetings and within law enforcement forums. Applicants will have direct line management responsibility for a team of investigators, and as such will provide support, motivation, guidance and monitor performance.
Applicants should have experience of managing teams, and prioritising workloads, as well as previous proven investigative skills. Applicants must already be accredited PIP1 or equivalent, and where not PIP2 ICIDP accredited will be required to enrol on the ICIDP program, sit and pass the National Investigators Exam (NIE), and successfully complete and ICIDP portfolio. Applicants must also be willing to undertake and pass the National Fraud Course.
Successful applicants will have proven leadership and investigative skills, be a highly motivated individual who has the ability to inspire others. The role requires predominantly office hours however there are times when flexibility is required to meet the needs of the team.
