Wiltshire Police are looking for a Resource Co-ordinator to work within the Force Resource Management Unit at Police Headquarters, Devizes.
Working in a dynamic and frequently challenging environment, the post holder will be required to co-ordinate and maintain Police Officer and Police staff resourcing across the Force, ensuring that adequate operational resilience is maintained. The post holder will primarily be responsible for the planning, preparation, inputting and publication of duties for the organisation and ensuring that resources are optimised to meet operational commitments. They will also be required to provide resourcing support for planned and spontaneous policing events when identified.
With experience, the post holder will also provide advice, guidance and support to managers and staff in order to provide a consistent approach to the management of resources across the Force, ensuring that Working Time Directives, Police Regulations and Police Staff Council Conditions of Service are complied with. As part of the role the post holder will also be required to carry out weekend ‘on call’ duties approximately once in every ten weeks.

The post is 37 hours per week however, there is the option to utilise job share, flexible or part time working in order to identify the right candidate(s) for the role.
